okay, so i went into the movie expecting very big things…guess what i got. An extremely big movie. This movie is very entertaining, while not the most realistic of movies, you have to understand this is a classic Indie movie. Okay, so Harrison Ford is gettin older and Shia is the new up and comer. Together they make a great team. The movie in general was a very enjoyable experience, filled with explosions, bullet dodging, whip cracking, and running away from giant flesh eating ants. The ending was not what I expected, the whole alien thing was a bit too much for me, but the movie was not a bore. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, cheering Indi and his new found friends, even his sweetheart from the first movie is back. Shia is a great new addition to the team. His charisma and attitude bring in a fresh breath of air from the sarcastic almost corny lines Indi brings us. Overall this is an action/adventure movie the whole family will enjoy. I guarantee it.

Ya Boy came blasting onto the scene with his 2006 single, Holla At Ya Boy. In the last couple of years, this Bay area native has been recording and working with The Game and the doctor. Many fans say that Ya Boy is the new face of the West Coast. His song 100 Bars of Death is very impressive. His style of rapping is compared to by many with Dr. Dre and many say that he is better than Lil Wayne “the Best Rapper Alive”.

However…Crooked-I just cannot be ignored. His rhyme schemes are amazingly fluid and poetic. Not only is it intellectual, but it also makes sense. Many of the new rappers today can’t come close to Crooked-I. Just listen to his song Rap 101, thats all you’ll need to make your mind up about Crooked-I

So the question is…who is Mr. West Coast? IMO, Ya Boy has a much better presentation and a larger fanbase. But that doesn’t go into decision. Crooked-I is overall a better rapper. He has the skills to be a killer. When he freestyles, it is with no hesitation and it flows. Ya Boy has the presentation. He has timing. He has clever wordplay. He also has the Doctor behind him. I say that Ya Boy is the new face of the West Coast.

This just in. Atlanta and Matt Ryan are having open contract talks. Ryan, Atlanta’s first round draft pick, and 3rd overall selection, was a much heralded athlete at Boston College. Having thrown for over 4,000 yards and 31 touchdowns his senior year, he was a surefire top ten pick. While Ryan may be the first 1st round pick to sign, many speculate this COULD turn to be another JaMarcus Russell type of situation. Last year Russell wasn’t signed until September, as a result he missed valuable practice time during the summer camps. They (Atlanta) have to get these negotiations under way to avoid that mess.

The next quarterback taken was Joe Flacco to the Ravens. He has also started contract negotiations and scheduled a meeting TODAY to go over some of the terms. It looks to be smooth sailing in the next couple of weeks for Flacco and the Ravens

Michael Strahan, future hall of famer and defensive end for the giants seems to be contemplating STILL over retiring or coming back for a 16th season. Many signs point to yes, he will come back. The giants defensive end hopes to get 8 million dollars for playing one more year, the giants have been reported to saying that 6 million will be as high as they go. Reportedly, Strahan said that his body is still in top shape . His agent also said he has one more year of elite football left in him. However, it doesn’t seem right to come back after your 15th season, in which you won a Super Bowl. Look at Jerome Bettis, he left his legacy in super form. The same could be said about Strahan, we’ll just have to wait and see.

So as many of you had heard, Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are split up. At least Kate isn’t moping around the house. Sources revealed that Kate is seeing another man. Lance Armstrong. That’s right, winner of many Tour de France races and cancer survivor. Let’s hope this doesn’t end up like Jess and Tony, another actress/sports star couple that ended their relationship after a great beginning. All in all, many of us would like to know…why Lance? Lance and Kate couldn’t be further apart in terms of where they are from or what they do. At least Tony Romo was a hunk. Anyway best of luck to the new couple. Hope you can survive this one Lance.
